Gene synthesis
Microbiology studies microscopic organisms such as viruses, fungi, bacteria, or
protozoa. The group deals with research on cell biology, physiology, ecology,
evolution, biochemistry, and clinical aspects of microorganisms and the effect
on the host to these agents. There are five branches of microbiology. They
include; bacteriology, physiology, immunology, hematology, parasitology, and
mycology.
Microbiology tests.
The microbiology tests include; blood culture and sensitivity, chlamydia,
cholera, endocervical swab, urine pregnancy test, DNA test, Nasal swab, semen
culture and sensitivity, and many other tests. These tests should be
conducted in the laboratory.
The procedure of the tests is informed to the patient by the specific doctor.
The doctor also tells the patient when the results will be out and where to get
the results.
Molecular Biology Services
The services provide necessary specific procedures for clinics or labs that
don't have the resources for in-house production. Molecular Biology services
can be done at varying volumes depending on the laboratory's budget.
In molecular biology services, one should look for technical support
availability, data retrieval, web-based ordering, quick data analysis,
confidentiality, and bar-coded order tracking.
Gene synthesis
It refers to a group of methods used in synthetic biology to develop and
assemble genes from nucleotides. Gene synthesis creates and modifies the
genetic sequence at a very unspecified pace.
Gene synthesis can effectively and rapidly recode natural lines at extensive
lengths. Gene synthesis does not require template DNA, making it possible for
any DNA sequence to be synthesized in the laboratory. Recently, gene synthesis
methods developed to allow the assembly of chromosomes and genomes.
In 2014, there was the first synthetic yeast chromosome synthesized. Gene
synthesis is a reliable and cost-effective procedure for obtaining customized
DNA constructs with a hundred percent sequence accuracy. Lastly, gene synthesis
is fast developing to replace cloning and mutagenesis methods.
